Scouting is AWESOME...

Scouting America gives kids the chance to discover who they are while building confidence, friendships, and real-life skills in a fun and supportive environment. From outdoor adventures and hands-on activities to leadership opportunities and community service, Scouting helps young people grow into capable, caring individuals. Families love Scouting because it creates meaningful experiences they can share together while giving kids the encouragement to try new things, challenge themselves, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Scouting is about so much more than earning badges or camping trips — it’s about helping kids grow into confident, capable, and caring people. Through hands-on adventures, leadership opportunities, teamwork, and service, scouts build real-life skills while having fun and making lifelong friends.

Not at all! While outdoor adventures are a big part of the experience, scouting offers something for every interest — from STEM and robotics to arts, community service, leadership, and career exploration. There’s a place for every child to thrive.

What age can my child start scouting?
Children can begin their scouting journey as early as kindergarten with Cub Scouts, and programs continue through high school with opportunities that grow alongside them.

Yes! Whether your family is brand new to scouting or continuing a tradition, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive environment. Scouting is about helping every child feel encouraged, included, and valued.
